Title | A Disservice in Port Chicago, California. Revisiting The Sailors Legal Outcomes in 2018. -jim p. white |
Content | It would take the California State Senate to bring the world war two events to a modern discussion. The bill passed and now the advocacy continues towards the U.S. Congress to bring honor to the Port Chicago Veterans, their families and grandchildren. The law let these brave ammo handlers down in 1945 - yet with advocacy in 2017-2018 the ethical Congressional review restoring honorable discharges to the all-black sailors of the US Navy ammo handlers of Port Chicago, California continues.
Linked was the exciting first phase, with salutes to the brave California Senate for uplifting the elements and merits of this case. -Jim P White, Veterans Benefit Law & Librarian, 2018.
