The focus of my practice is civil rights. I teach part time at Cornell Law School in the area of movement law/mass defense. My law practice is focused on state and federal constitutional claims, particularly discrimination, religious rights, bodily autonomy, and police misconduct.

Izak Rosenfeld is the Associate General Counsel for Access Now (an international human rights organization that defends and extends the digital rights of users at risk) where he acts as global in-house counsel, advising on international operations and compliance, and facilitating the organization's policy, advocacy, digital security helpline, and grants programs. Prior to Access Now, Izak worked in commercial litigation and corporate law at a law firm in Toronto, Canada.
He is a licensed Attorney & Counselor at Law in New York (USA), and a Barrister & Solicitor in Ontario (Canada), with a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Melbourne Law School (Global Top-10 Law School), having also studied law at McGill University.
Izak is an active member of the legal community, and is currently serving as Associate Judge, Awards and Subgrants for the American Bar Association (ABA). In addition, Izak is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Law Section's Corporate Counsel Committee, NYSBA Dispute Resolution Section's International Dispute Resolution Committee, NYSBA Corporate Counsel Section's Pro Bono, Diversity, and Technology Committees, New York City Bar's In-House Counsel and International Law Committees, the ABA Young Lawyers Division’s International Law, Corporate Counsel, and Dispute Resolution Committees, the ABA International Law Section’s Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Digital Rights Committee, and the Association of Corporate Counsel's International Legal Affairs Network.
Outside of his practice, Izak serves as an Auxiliarist with the US Coast Guard, Environmental Law Associate (Pro Bono) with the Earth Law Center, Pro Bono Attorney with the ABA's Free Legal Answers Program, member of the Young Professionals' Council with World Animal Protection, Volunteer Attorney with the City Bar Justice Center, and a mentor with the NYSBA and Melbourne Law School. He is also a Digital Grassroots Ambassador for data privacy, and is a Lawyer Member and Mentor in the Harvard Law School Systemic Justice Project’s “Justice Initiative”.
