Nick Rimmer is an 11-year veteran of the legal profession who currently represents clients in complex personal injury, wrongful death and police misconduct litigation throughout New Mexico. Prior to his employment with Bleus & Associates, Nick worked for a large regional firm out of Dallas, Texas and, prior to that, was in-house counsel for the third-largest property and casualty insurer in the United States. He has successfully represented clients and tried cases throughout New Mexico related to wrongful death, automobile liability, subrogation, professional liability, premises liability, fraud, products liability, firearm negligence, construction defect, D&O liability, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, and general civil litigation.
Nick graduated with a Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of New Mexico School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in 2011. While in law school he clerked for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico and worked as a research assistant for Professor James W. Ellis, lead counsel on Atkins v. Virginia, 536 U.S. 304 (2002).
Nick enjoys trial practice and has served as first chair for jury trials in Tierra Amarilla, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces. He takes the development of trial skills seriously and can often be found at the courthouse observing veteran trial lawyers.
