Whitney Leeds is a 2L at the University of Colorado Law School, where she serves as the president of the student Guild chapter. She is also an active member of the Colorado chapter.
Whitney is the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship at CU Law and she worked as a Summer Public Service Fellow at the local public defender’s office. Whitney serves on the Dean’s Committee for Diversity and is an active member of Colorado Foreclosure Resistance Coalition and the Rocky Mountain Student Power Convergence. She is a past member of the National Coordinating Committee for the Campus Antiwar Network and has organized around issues of labor, affordable housing, racial justice, GI rights, student debt, environmental justice, immigrants’ rights, and more.
Before law school, Whitney received a B.A. in Sociology from the City College of the City University of New York.
