The National Lawyers Guild, in collaboration with the Center for Constitutional Rights and others, is providing legal support for Palestine solidarity activism. The initiative supports advocates in the U.S. who face attempts to shut down, smear or hamper their activism. If activists have questions about an activity or a campaign they are organizing, if they face personal attacks or legal backlash, or if they would like to schedule a workshop on legal issues related to their activism, they can contact an attorney at palestinelegalsupport.org or (312) 212-0448.
Efforts are escalating to silence open debate on Palestine and to mislabel advocacy for Palestinian human rights as anti-Semitic. In response, we are tracking all incidents of repression, and providing legal support. We can answer questions, refer activists to partners around the country, and provide resources to inform their work.
