Miriam Haskell is a public interest lawyer and prison abolitionist focused on juvenile justice and anti-incarceration work in Florida. Prior to entering non-profit legal work, Miriam worked as an assistant public defender in Miami-Dade County. Before becoming a lawyer, Miriam was as an education reporter for four years. Miriam, who is Arab-American, grew up overseas and in the southern United States. She attended Barnard College and went to law school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
