In May of 2002, an NLG delegation traveled throughout the West Bank to investigate allegations of war crimes by the Israeli military. What the delegation found was a state-sponsored campaign aimed at destroying the identity and culture of the Palestinian people. In The Name Of Security, a 27-minute video, documents what they saw. Through interviews with Israelis and Palestinians and documentation of destroyed cities and impassable checkpoints, the video describes a brutal occupation designed to prevent statehood and tells the story of the strength of the Palestinian people.
