Stern, Debora Gerads, George Bisharat In May of 2002, an NLG delegation traveled throughout the West Bank to investigate allegations of war crimes by the Israeli military. What the delegation found was a state-sponsored campaign aimed at destroying the identity and culture of the Palestinian people. In The Name Of Security, a 27-minute video, documents what they saw. Through interviews with Israelis and Palestinians and documentation of destroyed cities and impassable checkpoints, the video describes a brutal occupation designed to prevent statehood and tells the story of the strength of the Palestinian people.
