The NLG Middle East Subcommittee maintains an un-moderated discussion list, meaning postings are distributed automatically as soon as you send them. Post-ers are expected to proof-read your postings, stay on topic, and be courteous. In extreme cases the list-owner may remove an uncompliant member from the list, at his or her discretion subject to overruling by the list-members as a whole in opinions stated in postings to the list, as counted by the Subcommittee chair. The topic on which to stay is: Legal issues related to the Middle East and the relation of the United States to it, in the context of the principles of the National Lawyers Guild. To join or remain on the list you must be or become a paid-up Guild member, as recognized by the list-owner.
