Get Involved!
Student chapters operate autonomously. Chapters work on issues that affect their
local communities or that they are passionate about as a group. At the same
time, the Guild has various national-level projects that many student chapters
have decided to work on. Below is just a sampling of ways to get involved and issues that many student
chapters organize around, as well as some materials to help you plug in. Don't
forget to check the
listing of National Projects and Committees. If you are interested in
pursuing an issue or organizing a project not listed here, there
are probably other Guild members interested, if not already taking action.

START A CHAPTER!
Here are some things to help you either get a chapter started or reinvigorated
on your campus. Your school's administration will likely ask you for a
constitution and bylaws, and the other items are meant to help you learn
about the Guild--not only for yourself, but so that you can confidently
encourage others to get involved... The other items will help you decide
what your chapter might do as a campus organization. Use the logo
for fliers, bring the sign-up sheet to meetings, and you'll be on your
way!
MILITARY LAW GI Rights and Counter-Recruitment
The NLG Military Law Task Force, an increasingly important resource to GIs, welcomes the involvement of law students. They can provide trainings in military law for law student chapters. Please see:
