Biography
Ranya Ghuma works at the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau as a staff attorney in the Child Advocacy unit, representing young people in the foster care system. In Baltimore, she has been active in conducting Know Your Rights trainings with youth advocacy groups and in supporting prison abolition and prisoner rights efforts. She is currently a co-chair of the NLG Maryland Chapter. Ranya was also a founding co-chair of TUPOCC and served on the NEC in that capacity for two years before becoming a regional vice president.
