NLG/KDLA LAW BOOKS FOR NORTH KOREA PROJECT

The National Lawyers Guild, in collaboration with the Korean Democratic Lawyers Association of the DPRK, have launched a Law Books for North Korea Project. The 2003 Delegation learned that there is shortage of legal training material and resources in the DPRK due to the years of embargo and other factors. They are interested in treatises in all areas of law, including international law, international finance, human rights, commerical transactions and other legal matters.

If you have any books to donate to the NLG/KDLA Library in Pyongyang, please contact Neil Berman at njberman@juno.com. Include a list of the books that you are willing to send, their dates of publication and how many volumes, if applicable. You will then be told which books to send and where to mail them in order to reach the KDLA. Shipping costs can be at an internatioanl book rate, but at your expense.

Please join us in this important lawyer to lawyer exchange.
