The NLG 1938 convention in Washington, DC—one year after the Guild's founding. By 1939 the Guild would be embroiled in a public and internal controversy over the Communist affiliations of many of its members.

75 Years of Law for the People

As we reflect on the past 75 years, we'll be posting photographs, letters, and other historical documents from the NLG archives at New York University's Tamiment Library and elsewhere.
